about

I was sorting through Brannon's music to put together a playlist for his family after he passed, and I discovered an unfinished song called "Fate Could Intervene." It really blew me away and I decided to develop it into a fully-produced tune. I have kept and included Brannon's original guitar part on the track, so he actually plays on this song. His best friend, Scott Anderson, was a great comfort to me after Brannon died and was with me through the process of making this song and plays bass on it.

lyrics

Lyrics by Brannon Hedgcoth/altered by Lane Tarr

Fate could intervene
And show us things unseen
You don't believe in destiny
But fate could intervene

Stumbling through life
Like you don't know what's right anymore
Did you ever know more?

Love speaks in codes
But none that you could know
When your questions answered all will change
I'll pass along your name

You don't believe in destiny
Fate could intervene
Show us things unseen
Fate could intervene
