This album is dedicated to the memory of my dear friend Brannon Hedgcoth.

Exactly one year prior to its release I was not feeling very well and called Brannon (my former roommate in Austin, TX) and told him I'd like to come out and spend some time with him. Without hesitation he said he'd be waiting for me, so I jumped in the car and sped away from Los Angeles with a mobile recording studio in my back seat. I spent that week reconnecting with my friend and beginning work on a new "album." I was using a janky tape machine that caused more headaches than I could stand and by the end of my visit I had a 7-song SOMETHING (that I named "Indigoin'" and haven't released), but I definitely couldn't call it an album.

I never could have predicted that a year later I would be living in New Jersey, completing the real version of my originally attempted album, and that Brannon would be dead. Brannon was a prolific and unknown musician and three tracks from BLT involve him in a big way.

I hope you find it to be an entertaining, simple, and peaceful experience and I'm glad you're listening.
