My second-ever attempt at a cover and my first time (earnestly) making a hip-hop track.
This is a cover of a song by an artist named Eyedea, who made an album under the pseudonym "Oliver Hart" in 2002, from which this song comes. It's one of the greatest albums I've ever heard. Just special beyond belief.
My incredible friend and musical partner Johan Ingler has always said, "I don't know why people make covers that sound just like the original. What's the point? Unless you're gonna do something unique with it, just let the original speak for itself." I have agreed with him until now.
There's no way I stood a chance at making a version of this song that's anywhere near as good as the original, let alone ADDING to it. My point in doing this cover is that I just wanted more exposure for Eyedea (Oliver Hart). i want his amazing song to be heard.
